De Tellurium Q Black Diamond luidsprekerkabel is onder de statement de beste luidsprekerkabel van Tellurium Q. Ondanks dat dit misschien nog niet de allerbeste kabel is van Tellurium Q zet deze kabel al een statement/standaard neer. De Black Diamond is de opvolger van de Graphite serie van Tellurium Q. Waar de Graphite soms nog weleens wat donker kon klinken is dit bij de huidige diamond serie verdwenen.
De Black Diamond is het topmodel uit de Black serie van Tellurium Q. De serie wordt gevormd door de standaard Black II, Ultra Black II en Black Diamond kabel. De kenmerk van Tellurium Q Black Diamond luidsprekerkabel kan worden omschreven als verfijnd, vloeiende weergave met geen enkele vorm van scherpte. Tellurium Q levert met Black serie een kabel die de essentie van muziek als basis neemt. Het doel van de kabel is om uw installatie aan te zetten en te gaan genieten van de emotie die uw set te weeg brengt.
U heeft de mogelijkheid om uw gehele installatie te voorzien van Black Diamond kabels. De serie bestaat namelijk ook nog uit een: jumpers, analoge RCA kabel, analoge XLR kabel, analoge Phono kabel, digitale RCA/BNC kabel en digitale ethernetkabel.

My final thoughts are of complete admiration for the Tellurium Q Black Diamond Speaker Cables, they are incredible speaker cables, absolutely incredible. I am still stunned by how I was able to hear the deficiencies of my system, but once fixed the sound was elevated to a new height. This did not come easy, I was right about them in this regard but wrong about them for 99% of the time I spent with them. The last 1% of the time changed everything. I changed from being impressed to being in love and now I do not want to take them out of the system. When things click to this level then its kick back and listen time, then listen more and more with a big smile and some happy tears for good measure.

With the Black Diamond speaker cable in the loop, the already advanced level of soundstaging gained expansion and finesse. I thought the front-back sorting which began slightly in front of the speakers superb. The far corner stage lights added illumination. Everything came out a bit more generously sized than usual. Tonally the speaker leashes fell in line with the interconnects. Against the mentioned competition, the Tellurium Q impressed with pleasingly saturated tone colours, marked overall authority and an especially stress free natural treble. Beyond debate was the family gathering of a complete loom where the sum of the parts reiterated the ‘signature sound’ of the Black Diamonds. Already a single cable can inject it into the system. Not entirely surprising, the strongest single effect comes by way of the speaker cables. Change out other connections subsequently and the sonic benefits accrue and intensify into the top echelon. The obvious danger is that the ambitious audiophile will soon want to recable the entire system with Tellurium Q Black Diamond. My advice for the budget-conscious who can’t stretch to the speaker cable is to start with one low-level connection. That’s easier on the wallet and accomplishes a lot already.

The Tellurium Q Black Diamond speaker cables represent a fantastic loudspeaker cabling alternative that can only be applauded for the performance levels it exhibits. From the lowest bass, up to the highest treble, it showed staggering performance levels not only in “technical terms” but also in its ability to draw the listener into the musical performance and evoke deep emotions.
